Very Poor service and ignorance Steers Life Style Centre

Hi Everyone,

I had a very bad experience at Steers Life Style in Centurion.

I had a perfect R100 note that tore exactly in half inside the shop. The value of the note was very clear, both serial numbers on both sides of the note was clear as well as the water mark.

The owner named Madeleine refused to accept my money and confirmed that she has deducted money from staff for the same thing. According to the National Reserve Bank a note will be accepted at full value if you can determine more than 85% if the value of the note, only half amount will be paid out if a 3rd of the mutilated note can be determined, once less than a 3rd of the mutilated note can be determined the payout will be declined. They made me wait 38min and gave me cold food only after i paid with the card. I wonder if she deducted the money from her staff at full value can she prove she never deposited the money for a lesser amount if not the full amount. She also owns the Debonair next to Steers in the Life Style Centre and i am assuming she implements the same rules there. I do not trust these shops and I feel that Madelein the owner of Tripple M Investment that owns and manages these branches of Steers and Debonairs in Life Style Centre is making a bad impression on these brands owned by Famous Brands. Stay Away from this shop she is clearly deducting money from her staff without valid reason and just blatantly rude and disrespectful towards her clients. Never has anyone declined my money based on their own bad experiences
