Steers watering down their quality

Just had the worst Steers experience ever. Took my family to Wild Coast Sun and decided to buy burgers. As we normally get Wacky Wednesday with extra loaded fries in JHB we bought the same. Was so dissapointed. The cheese sauce was very watered down and didnt have any taste. The chips looked brown and not fresh. The sauce on the burgers were also so watered down. It dripped out of the burger. Not creamy and tasty like JHB branches. Is it because they don't get a lot of people out of season so quality go down the drain. When we spoke to the manager about the chips. He said first it is because the food is hot? Then because of the oil? Then because they use a different supplier for sauce. So what is it. Left unsatisfied and the smell of vinegar still on my fingers, yet we had none? If this is the quality we get for the price we pay these days as everything is rising, but quality seems to drop all the time, I will rather buy from my Portuguese corner take away shop. Fresh chips and burgers without thinned sauces. Franchise chain stores no longer appeal to us.
