Steers walker drive, terrible service.

My little one wanted a milkshake and we were in the area of Walker drive, Port Elizabeth an decided to pop in at the steers. Upon entry they were not very busy with one or two people waiting for their food. I walker in, made eys contact with one of the servers and greeted. She turned around without saying anything.

I waited at the counter patiently whilst literally 3 ladies were packing one order in with their backs turned toward me and another customer that looked like she wanted to order. I am not one to complain but after another 5 or so minutes I called one of the ladies to voice my frustration at not even being greeted. She cut me off mid sentence saying she is busy and will be with me now. I asked why no greeting was even offered and she ignored that as well. I then took my son and walked out. How could 3 staff members not even offer a simple hello?

I do not mind waiting if a place is busy but it was just so poor that they yacked on in their own language, ignored customers and then had the cheek to cut me off mid sentence before I could voice why I was upset i. The first place. I am only writing this as it is not the first time I had experienced poor service here.

Coming from a franchising background I realise how important brand image and customer service is and cannot see that this would be acceptable to the franchisee or franchisor.
