STEERS SANTON CITY

I went to Steers Sandton City on Friday, Feb 28th 2025 to obviously buy food. I work late at 22h00 so I got there around 20h40. I bought the Classic Rave Burger meal for R62.90 and bought a Phanda Rave burger for R29.90

I had the chance to open my meal around 4am on Sat, Mar 1st (my lunch time at work) and only saw then that the wrong burger was given to me. Instead of getting a classic burger and a snack burger, I got two snack burgers. I took pictures of what was given to me and ate because I was hungry.

I knock off at 7am. Waiting until 9am doing nothing isn't feasible since I live in Soweto. I made it to Steers Sandton City on Monday, at 20h41 to let them know what happened and I apparently did not have enough evidence to prove that I was given two snack burgers. Mind you, the wrapping on the papers showed that the burgers were snack burgers and I had no meal in a box, as it was supposed to have been given to me. The cashier, Princess, explained that the Phanda burger comes wrapped and that the Classic Burger comes in a box. When I showed the pictures of the burgers provided, I was told that they cannot do anything because my pictures aren't so detailed for them to act.

Out of curiosity, I asked a lot of follow-up questions and Foreman, on of the workers started storming at me telling me that I should suck it up because nothing will be done for me. I asked for the store managers details and I was given Eugene's WhatsApp number. On Monday, I sent him a voice note on WhatsApp explaining everything. Today's Wednesday, Mer 5th and I still have not heard anything from him. At this point, something has to be done because I was not happy with the fact that I was given a burger worth R30 when I paid R63

Please help me. I tried being civil with them but they clearly don't know how to treat people that spend their hard-earned money to keep the business up.
