Steers Lenasia South @ Golden Highway says they don’t have change and I wasn’t served.

I just walked out of Steers. I wanted to buy a large sized beverage. I had only R200.00 and the gentleman I found there told me that they have no change and that it has been quite.

I simply walked out disappointed. Isn’t it that the supervisor or manager is supposed to make sure that the Cash Office has Change in case a customer who doesn’t have loose money walks in ? What are floats for ?

I have been buying from steers, Fishaways, Ocean Basket and Mcdonalds for years, I have never experienced such. And even if the cashier didn’t have change at the time, they’d ask from the manager or at least check with the next cashier or the neighbouring restaurant. But the gentlemen simply said he doesn’t have change as soon as he saw my R200. Opened one drawer and reapers himself.

How is it that lack of change in that branch became my problem ? I am never setting foot in that restaurant, people buy the service if you must know.
