Extremely Disappointed with Steers Komatipoort Delivery

We experienced extremely poor service from Steers Komatipoort on 7th of Feb 2024. After waiting two hours for a delivery of four plain burgers, we were left feeling frustrated and hungry.

Despite repeatedly calling the restaurant to confirm the order and its whereabouts, we were simply told "10 minutes" each time. Finally, when we phoned again were informed that the driver had left the restaurant. We phoned 40minutes later and was informed that they couldn't contact him to learn his whereabouts.

Given the excessive wait time and lack of communication, we opted to cancel the order and find food elsewhere. However, to our surprise, the driver arrived two hours later, honking incessantly.

We politely explained the situation and requested the driver to leave, but he initially refused and continued honking. After further explanation, he finally apologized and departed.

It is unacceptable to wait two hours for a simple order, especially from a restaurant only 3km away. Furthermore, the lack of communication and unprofessional behavior of the driver were completely unacceptable.

We urge others to avoid Steers Komatipoort delivery and recommend sticking to restaurants with a proven track record of good service.
