Steers cleaning staff take a starring role in a bizarre anti-customer stage production at Festival Mall, Kempton Park.

How much privacy do you need when eating a "table order" burger, fries and coke at a Steers fast food restaurant? At the Steers Festival Mall in Kempton Park... they don't think you need any privacy.

Even more importantly ... you might just be in the way of their cleaning staff. So eat up fast and ****** off!!!

At Steers Festival Mall, the cleaning staff.... who are VERY important... don't really need or want customers. And they DON'T need you hanging around for 10 minutes eating a burger.

Steers cleaning staff at Festival Mall are VERY important people. So they just get on with their important job of cleaning table legs... whether you are sitting at the table or not. And in doing so ... they are SURE to make you feel unwelcome.

Check out what happened to me today... at Steers Festival Mall, Kempton Park ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=px_6tIZgWTc

What's the background? I ordered and paid for a burger, chips and coke at Steer Festival Mall, Kempton Park. I sat down at a empty table for 10 minutes waiting for the food.

It was lunch time... and there were no tables inside available. So I chose a table outside and waited for ten minutes. The burger and chips arrived. I was alone at the table.

But as I took the first bite into my burger... a member of the Steers cleaning staff... with her with steel wool, a steel container of smelly detergent... took off her cap, sat down at my table ... with her back to me.... and started cleaning the legs of the table that I was having lunch at...

She was clearly irritated that I was sitting at a table she wished to clean the legs of .... I was clearly in the way of her work. She had finished the table closest to the Steers entrance... and now needed to move on to the next table.

At no point did she greet me, look at me or talk to me. At no point did I talk to her.

She just huffed and puffed... appearing to make a decision NOT to clean the table legs of a table with no customers... 3 metres away. She had made up her mind that the legs of my table needed to be cleaned. Her thought process appeared to be: "Oh well, there is a customer at that table, but I am going to clean that table anyway... because that is my plan".

For the entire time that it took to eat my meal... her back and bum were in my face. As she leaned over to clean the legs of my table ... her colourful flowery panties and underwear were in my face.

As she cleaned, my table shook and vibrated... and she occasionally s***led in irritation at me. I was sitting at a table she wished to clean.

I kept passive... and just carried on eating ... the table continued to shake, I finished my meal.... she just kept going. I was not welcome. I was in her way. She was busy and she just kept going.

I was so affronted by this bizarre behaviour that I finished my burger - took out my cell phone - and started filming her utterly anti-customer behaviour. She ignored me... and kept on cleaning the legs of a my table with steel wool... shaking the table that I was sitting at sitting eating my lunch.

I had two choices. Leave or make a scene. I wasn't going to make a scene. How do you make a scene with someone so utterly devoid of any customer training?

Steers management need to up their game. Why do 'surly' Steers cleaning staff... have to make customers feel unwelcome? What is the point?

And why do Steers cleaning staff have to clean legs of tables with steel wool during the lunch hour... when it is clearly busy. And why can't they clean tables where there are no customers?

Surely Steers want to make having lunch at a Steers fast food restaurant a pleasurable experience?

When I passed the Steers 30 mins later... there was no cleaning staff and loads of empty tables. The lunch time rush was over. She could have cleaned to her hearts content ... and not completely alienated a customer...?

This Steers worker has clearly never been trained... to be remotely worried about customers or giving them a pleasant experience. No hostility. No thought about the customer. No worries that she shook my table for 10 minutes. No desire to clean the legs of an empty table across the room.

No ... she was going to clean this table... whether there was a customer there or not.

Surely Steers training school can do better than this? Where was the manager of Steers Festival Mall when this little pantomime played out?

Steer HQ HR team needs to descend on Steers Festival Mall, Kempton Park... and give them a seriously training in customer service.

Does the manager of the Steers Festival Mall think this is a good idea? How could this anti-customer behaviour be allowed to continue there for 30 minutes... ? What is going at this Steers outlet...?

Or conversely... can Steers please tell us customers what to do ... in the face of such a bizarre situation .... ?

My advise to everyone. Avoid Steers Festival Mall... until their entire staff have had a little more training in how to make customers feel welcome.

My Steers experience destroyed a pleasant lunch... and made me fear about the level of the Steers staff training programme. And as for the Steers cleaning staff.... they have completely lost the plot!!@!! SOMEONE... please help them!!
