Steers Blue Hills Shopping Centre | over 2 months to refund not yet received | PATHETIC SERVICE & NO RESPONSES

On the 26 March 2020 I placed an order via the Steers app and was called a few minutes later by the store to inform me that they did not have stock of the items I ordered. I told the lady that I spoke to that I did not want the substitute and she could cancel my order and refund the amount paid.

As at the 31 March, I did not receive a cancellation communication or the refund in my account to which I emailed *** to query as to when I could expect my refund. On 31 March, I got a call from the Steers Fishhoek branch asking me about my refund as they had no record of this order, the gentleman I spoke to was very helpful (the only helpful person I have dealt with at Steers!), he gave me the call center number and said I should give them a call as they allocated it to the wrong branch.

When I called the call center a spoke to a consultant at the beginning of April, and he advised that due to the lockdown it was hard for him to give me an estimate as to when I would receive a refund. As ridiculous as this explanation was I decided to give Steers the benefit of the doubt and waited. I did not receive any communication or the refund, so I sent another email on 25 April which again went un-responded.

I sent a further email on 13 May 2020 (which was not responded to) and then called the call center on 21 May and spoke to a consultant who said he would escalate the matter and I will receive a response in 24 hours.

Well, you can guess that I did not get a response. I sent a further email on 28 May to Steers and Famous Brands requesting a response by 29 May close of business. Needless to say I would not be writing a review if I had a response.

I am incredibly frustrated and have run out of patience with Steers. I cannot believe that I have to wait over 2 months for MY MONEY! I cannot fathom that the customers service, consultants and/or refund process at Steers is this ***********.

I will never purchase anything from Steers again and will ensure that none of my family or affiliates do the same. Useless and pathetic customer service!
