Dear Reader
I Purchased a Wacky Wednesday Deal at Steers Zevenwacht on the 20th of May.
Halfways through the burger my wife came across something unusual and green in the Burger. It was'nt like a herb, infact it would be even more unusual to receive a Danya Burger from any Steers.
We couldnt figure it out, it looked like mold and my wife immediately stopped eating. My wife is pregnant and we understand that food poisonings could be very dangerous especially in the early stages.
I had to make my way back to the mall to return the meal and explain that the meat could possibly be moldy. The Cashier replaced the meal, didnt apologise for the issue not for the trouble caused having to return to have the meal replaced, probably because I didnt make a scene because it seems like thats the only time when people get decent service is when they B**** and moan.
I lodged a complaint the following day with Steers head office. Very intense long story short, Janine from either the store or Headoffice came back to me Saying it was a Meat food stamp that was minced into the Burger patty which I have havent seen in a burger the way I did before. I Still have pictures. I was also invited to come to the back of the store and see how the meat was produced which kind of had me puzzled as I dont have time.
Exactly the reason I got take aways is because its Fast Food and we dont always have time.
Thats it, poor service, big ***** up on the burger, no apology, no gesture even for my trouble and one pointless solution that I just dont have time for. I am a big fan of Steers and I will probably go back at some point but to be honest the whole experience just left a bad taste in my mouth and Literally in my wife's.
I will definitely spread the word about the experience and thank you for reading.
