Payment disaster !!! STEERS SUNNYSIDE!!!!

I made an online order yesterday using the app. Driver delivered and we made a payment using their machine. When making a payment , after tapping, the machine went off, but the payment went off from my account. driver called a couple of times saying the restaurant didn't receive the payment , and i had to send a POP. The driver called back later in the day and said the payment was still not there and might reverse. I woke up today and payment was still reflecting as having gone through. Driver called me to check , then he sadly informed me that he had to make payment from his own pocket. Not one time did the restaurant follow-up with me as the client , they did not ask for any bank statement or ask me if i can confirm that payment was made but they rather held the driver responsible and that is unfair. i tried to call today to explain the situation, after a lengthy explanation , the phone was hung in my ear. i called back to no assistance, the call centre could not assist also and forwarded my call to the restaurant who's line was now totally off.......... what in the f*****... this is totally wrong and unfair!!!!!!
