Money for nothing

Good day I cannnot find NinaPark Steers, and my query concerns them. On 26/6/19 we placed an online order and paid via card on the website. The transaction went through on my friends bank account, but the order was never placed. After not receiving confirmation of the order, we phoned the store ans spoke to the manager there (Eva, I think). She also confirmed that the order was never received as the payment was not received either. She was very helpful, and said that the payment would probably reverse and the money will be paid back to the bank account. It has been 21 days since this happened and no reversal of the amount has been done, but according to the bank statement the money was banked on the 28th of June. POS Purchase (EFFEC ***9) Steers Hillc Card no. 3735. I have all the proof that the payment was made. Can you please advise on what is going to happen or did we just pay R170.80 for nothing.
