Misleading customers

According to the staff when ordering meals telephonically their card machines have not been operating since February, this is the message the store seems to tell students in Grahamstown Rhodes University, i wanted to see if they do this to other citizens of the town, so i went to a friends house and the delivery man came with the card machine. the same night i was told they arent working. this is the second year ive written to hellopeter and the response was that students lie to the store about their identities. does this mean we should all suffer because of what other students do, we are not students to Steers we are CUSTOMERS and according to the customer protection act they are violating section 41 of my rights as a consumer. the store must find ways to deal with this matter and stop lying to students, or if i am wrong and all their card machines arent working then can they please fix them cause i slept hungry, and couldnt work. am i expected to carry cash with me all the time when banks are encouraging customers to use cards because it isnt safe to carry cash for a student who deosnt have a car.<br> A response and action would be appreciated.
