knowing and appreciating your customers

Some weeks back i went to Steers Robert Broom and asked for the specials which they had. The cashier on duty explained them nicely to me of which i asked if the one i wanted contained pork. She told me it does and since i dont eat pork i bought something else. After about a week i came back to buy and i met the same lady, without thinking i ordered for the same thing which i refused the last time and she reminded me that it contains pork. This i regard as great service as you are required to know your customers and be of good service to them.
