Wow. What a terrible experience I had at your branch in Canal Walk this Sunday past. I ordered a burger meal worth R57. The reason why I went to Steers is because it was the only store that never had a queque and I was extremely hungry. My meal came with a burger and fries. When I got my meal I literally stuffed my mouth with fries. There were so little fries, definitely not a hole potato's worth. Once again, I stuffed the burger into my mouth still extremely hungry, more than halfway through eating my burger I realised that I was in fact just eating a roll with salads on it. My partner ordered the exact same meal, luckily before he started eating he looked at his burger patty, the patty was so small, the roll was bigger than the actual patty, the patty was the size of the patty on the mini rave burger. He took his meal back and received a full refund after being told that that is how it is meant to be served. I got a other type of burger back in return, the manager specifically told me that I would get a small burger back, funny enough the patty on the small burger was bigger than my R57 "meal" what a shame. The manager never even apologized she kept on stating that that is how it is served. When I left, I had such a bitter taste in mouth, still hungry! The service industry in this country has really gone to the dogs. R57 to pay for a lowsy salad burger! Thats more than what most people earn an hour. I now understand why I was the only customer at Steers on a Sunday evening when Canal Walk was packed! Your competitors literally had clients piling up at every angle. I usually don't order take out because it's overpriced and unhealthy, but on this day I felt like it, I would usually never pay R57 for takeout and the one time that I do this happens. I will definitely stick to using my Entertainer app vouchers. What a shame.
