Excellent services and food at Steers The Colony

A week ago I received an sms from Steers indicating that if I download the Steers app I will get 50%voucher of my first purchase using the app. I hurriedly downloaded the app and received the 50%off voucher.

I made a purchase yesterday using the app and obviously taking advantage of the discount voucher, I '****ed' my burgers adding everything from an extra patty, extra cheese aswell as bacon to the Steers share box meal. Now its time to pay and I opted for the curbside collection option and forgot completely to use the 50%off voucher. Upon checkout the Steers app chargered me the full price without the discount and I immediately got onto the phone to call Steers at The Colony to inform them about the error.

The manager Ntombi answered and she advised me to come to the store to correct the error. Upon my arrival Ntombi requested that I open the Steers app and re-order the same things but only this time use the voucher code. At this point I had no data to log onto the Steers app as I stay connected to the office wifi. Another staff member at Steers by the name of Bridgette stepped up and offered her phone so that I could connect to her Hotspot.

After a few attempts to use the voucher on the app it indicated that the voucher has been used. Ntombi now gets onto the telephone with Steers Head Office to explain to situation of the discount voucher.

After 15minutes of being on the phone with head office and few more attempts to reorder using the app, I now become frustrated and request that I leave the order as I am not able to get the discount as indicated in the sms. This is when Bridgette again steps in to calm me down by showing me the delicious burgers they had prepared and assured me that they will sort out the issue and would like me to just wait a few more minutes.

Fast forward I was able to pay for my order using the 50% off voucher and got home to the most delicious juiciest burgers. It was definitely worth the frustration and efforts made by the two ladies at Steers The Colony.

Big ups to the manager Ntombi and Bridgette who went above and beyond to make sure that the customers stays king.
