Disgusting Service from Steers

One would think that with these franchises being closed for so long, that when they were allowed to trade, they would take care to provide a quality product and service, considering the amount of business they had already lost. Yesterday, 04/05/2020, my family and I decided to enjoy a fast food meal and subsequently decided on Steers. We placed our order through the Uber eats app and it was delivered from the Wetton, Cape Town franchise. The meal arrived and because level 4 lockdown does not allow you to engage the driver, we accepted the meal unchecked, yet when we opened the parcel, the order was incomplete. To add to injury, the chips that were delivered we old, definitely not a fresh batch. So bad we had to throw it away. It was not edible. We called the store to inform them of the incomplete order and old chips to which we received a reply of "oh wow, can I get your details and someone will call you back". A while later we received a call only to repeat our complaint and be told that it will b sorted out. About an hour and 30 minutes later we called back and someone representing themselves as the manager answered to whom we repeated what happened and that no one had called us back. The response was "oh sorry, we dealing with lots of orders at the moment. I will call you back shortly". It is now 10h15 on the 05/05/2020 and we have still not received a call from the franchise. They have all the money for the order, yet we did not receive what we paid for and we had to put up with poor quality food. My order number was BE69B. I am disgusted in the quality of the product and the lack of service from this store.
