Disgusting service and etiquette
I recently bought a baby yorkie (8 weeks) and she cannot stay home alone or she'll bark and cry constantly. I ordered online to collect from Steers Hatfield Service Station, when I was outside of the store, I phoned 5 times to no avail trying to ask the store to bring my order to the car. When this failed I proceeded to go in store, where I was refused even acknowledgement as I had an animal in store. I then left the store and tried to contact Steers customer services, which took 4 attempts before I received a clear line where I could speak with someone. The woman told me that I cannot cancel the order I've placed, only the store can do this, and when I reiterated the disgusting reception and inability to contact this store, she simply put the phone down. I will not be supporting this franchise any longer.
PS, if your store does not have a "no animals"/"no pets"/"no dogs" sign on the door, you're legally not allowed to refuse service when someone does enter the store with an animal.
