Burger place with no burgers again

I visited the Mall of Africa branch at 7:15pm on 3 August 2016. I ordered 2 wacky Wednesday specials and was told that the store had no patties for that. As far as I am aware the Wednesday Prince burgers should be the same 100g patties used daily and in other burgers. Two things come from this.

1. It is absolutely ridiculous that a "burger" restaurant cannot adequately keep burgers (there core business and not t he first time that a Steers has been out of stock) in stock (I am aware that it is a public holiday and that it would get busier, however any experienced owner would compensate for this) or

2. Steers lies to the public concerning that fact that the Wednesday burgers are identical to the usual as there are "special" patties required for this.

Either way it is absurd and unacceptable from a reputable company. In the current environment, it is easy to lose business to the many competitors out there.

What is worse is I sent a query to them last week and have received no response or acknowledgement of receipt.

A few things to note. I initially contacted the customer care line and received no response in over a week. On HelloPeter I got a response in an hour. You do the math. Secondly, the manager contacted me and was not pleasant or polite. You really need people with people s****s to be employed. The manager tried to brush it off as an error in communication, with the implication that I may have misheard. I explained that I spoke to the cashier multiple times to ensure she understood me and she answered that there were no patties left for Wacky Wednesday. The manager confirmed that he had 2000 burger patties which would impy that staff was either too lazy to make the food or the patties that remained were different from what is used in your Wacky Wednesday special.

The manager has the audacity to offer me a Wacky Wednesday burger as compensation and has the nerve to tell me to go on a Wednesday to collect. I do not want any freebies. Do not patronise me with R40 and dictate when I must go. Sort out the poor quality of service so that customers can get served for the money that they provide to Steers.
