BAD SERVICE / BAD FOOD / BAD ATTITUDE
Steers at Ferndale Village must be the worst take-away spot in the whole of Johannesburg. We ordered a toasted cheese, bacon and tomato with regular chips and a King Steer combo. The order was placed at the counter at 12:35 with Queen and eventually got our (fast food) take-away more than half an hour later.The chips were old, cold and disgusting - not what I am used to at Steers. This is why I buy Steers, for the chips but these were awful !!! Now getting to the delightful toasted cheese, tomato and BACON! We paid R31.90 for this offering. A loaf of bread, block of cheese and packet of bacon would have been cheaper. There was NO BACON!!!! Sorry I meant to say a smidge of bacon was present.Now for the service !!!! Should I say LACK OFF SERVICE!!!! Queen must be the most useless, gormless, pathetic excuse for cashier/order taker in a fast food restaurant.
