Bad service and rude drivers

I am extremely disappointed with Steers Monument Park. On November 21, 2024, at 5:35 PM, I ordered fries to accompany our braai through their online app, which indicated that my order would arrive by 6:15 PM. Since we were having steak, we planned to have it ready by 6:25 PM to ensure a hot meal for everyone.

I contacted the store twice—first to confirm my order and then to follow up when the delivery time had passed. The staff member I spoke to seemed unaware of the situation and told me the kitchen confirmed the order was on its way. At 6:35 PM, I received a missed call from the driver. When I returned the call, he was rude and claimed he was outside my house but at the wrong address. Despite my attempts to assist him, he hung up, insisting the restaurant gave him the incorrect address, which is impossible since the correct one was provided on the app.

The driver finally arrived at 6:45 PM with cold fries. When I called Steers to complain, they assured me that Calvin, the branch manager, would reach out today to address the issue. However, I have yet to receive any follow-up.

If Steers cannot efficiently fulfill orders, they should change their delivery status to "collection only." Additionally, the app does not allow for order tracking. I will not be supporting them again.
