Bad Food, no response to complaint...

I ordered the 1/4 chicken and chips at Steers Bothasig last week (24/07/19). The chicken was dry stingy and tough - unpleasant to eat. I believe it was either not properly defrosted, or it was way overdone. It was also lacking in sauce... The sauce looked like it had been painted on with a basting brush, and thus did nothing to offset the dryness of the meat, in fact I could hardly taste it...

I returned the chicken, and, to his credit, the manager was very apologetic, and replaced it without question or hesitation. Imagine my disappointment when I got home only to discover the second chicken was just as bad as the first...??? It was late by now, and I really couldn't be bothered driving back to the store, so I binned it uneaten.

The following day I decided to send Steers a mail informing them of what had happened. At the very least I expected some sort of acknowledgement of my mail, but to this day, a week later, nothing!

I am not sure whether I am more disappointed with the food, or with the total lack of response from Steers... Is it arrogance or inefficiency?

So I guess it's back to Nando's for my chicken in future...
