Terrible platform

I can't believe this Steam! After they make it impossible to copy a game from someone else to spare you the data, you download most of your data for a game (ok, fine), but then you try the backup game data feature and when it fails, rerolls you back 16 gigs! They also don't want to refund and I still can't find anywhere to contact any customer support. Responses are all automated. What is more is I keep selecting "only update this game when I launch it" on my other games (and I don't play or launch it) and now during the night Steam tried updating the game without warning and my last 16Gigs are gone! Not evereyone has CAPLESS and now I'm stuck from the 8th to the 1st with NO DATA to play in my week of holiday with my best friend overseas. I wish they will pay for the inconvenience they cause! I am so angry! I still have 2 baught unplayed games because it is a mandatory 70 Gig download EACH, no way around it!
