Exceptional service from Dylan Venter and the Starplex Centurion team! I just want to give a massive shoutout and some well-deserved feedback to Starplex Maintenance (Centurion). They did an absolutely excellent job with my recent project! From start to finish, their communication was top-notch, keeping me in the loop the entire time. I especially want to commend the specific maintenance team that assisted on the day—the four gentlemen under the leadership of Dylan Venter were outstanding. They worked incredibly neatly, maintained a highly professional attitude throughout, and delivered top-tier results. Thank you, Starplex, and a huge thank you to Dylan and his crew for the fantastic work ethic! 5-star service.

Bad service
I had an insurance claim and was given Starplex as a contractor I saw them 2 times and both these times they were late by at leat 2 hours The person who came out on both occasions did not have alot of knowledge on this matter. He also did not look approachable to see clients. Yes he is a worker but there where no work to be done he just needed to inspect and give feedback to my insurance which he also delayed and did not do as expected. This made my claim a nightmare and did not get out what I supposed to get

Time waisters
This company was appointed by my insurance to replace the Geyserwise controller on my geyser. After finally getting a report from them, the insurance called and informed me that Starplex can not give a quote as they are not qualified or experienced to replace / repair the unit. A hole day waisted. And now nothing comes on, meaning the guy from Starplex disconnected something in the ceiling..

BORDERLINE ****STERS
Use at your peril.Very arrogant service.Their maintenance divison doesnt follow specification or minimum SANS building standards.They ignore your concerns putting yourself under risk from NHBRC and other regulatory bodies eg Electrical Certificate of compliance,HOA,neighbours complaints,estate rules,city council.They dont supervise contractors or subcontractors on site.Furthermore when you complain about their service they ignore issues by proceeding to hide their mistakes (defects) by carrying on with other work.They make their service as frustrating as possible for you so that you compromise on standards(Its called ************).They leave you as a client to supervise the work and approve the work.Then they ask for payment.Total let down.

Engage Starplex Plumbing at your own peril
Staplex is a terrible and unprofessional plumbing company, use them at your peril. Around 18 September 2025, I experienced a burst geyser which was leaking water into my ceiling. I contacted Staplex and they send one of their plumbers on site, who arrived at about 23:00 accompanied by his girlfriend. After checking the leak, in less than five minutes later he came out of the roof, assuring me he has stopped the water supply. I immediately made payment but a day or two later, the water continued to leak from the roof and more than a month later, I’m struggling to get the company to come fix their mess.
