Unable to get anyone to speak to - kept on hold

I have been trying since 3.20 to get a person at Stanlib to take my call. I have been shunted from pillar to post but after 45 minutes have still not managed to get hold of anyone to give me an answer. This is not the first time this has happened. A Lerato at the call centre told me she would call me back if she got a chance....When I asked her for her surname and to spell it she gave me a muddled spelling and put the phone down. Is this the type of service one can expect from Stanlib? As I type this I have still not managed to get anyone from the Company to call me back and give me an answer...Extremely frustrating as the other companies I deal with are extremely helpful and actually DO call back. I also sent an email on the 25 March and requesting assistance on how to register on their web page. I have to-date had no feedback.

Hello sanmat@jhb,

We hear your frustration and most certainly will take note. I know that you have now been inundated with calls from senior management - we will investigate the earlier responses to your calls and will use this exercise to keep improving our service to each and every one of our investors.

As explained, we publish a list of all Funds available on our LISP platform on the product pages of our website. Performance of all these portfolios can be tracked on Morningstar - this is also published weekly on our website.

We did issue you with Online access but it would seem the communication of the registration was delayed. As you have now managed to register, you should be able to instruct for the proposed switch transaction Online.

Thank you for maintaining your relationship with STANLIB - we do appreciate hearing from you. This allows us the opportunity to identify problem issues and to get these resolved.

Warm regards
Barbara Egan
