Take STANLIB to MARS - Worst Financial Platform...EVER!!

I have submitted a death claim on the 14th October 2016. All the relevant documentation was submitted. I anticipated a very smooth process because it is a VERY uncomplicated case. I requested - You Requested - I provided - You don't deliver!! HuH...Somewhere I am missing the point?? Let's see...

1. On 14th October 2016, I submitted the claim with all the relevant and correct documentation.

2. On 14th November 2016, I call ********** 003 and speak to Giya, who advises that the application is still laying on the receiving end...it will be submitted again on this date.

3. On 21st November 2016, I speak to Sisiso who confirms submission and promises to give me feedback asap.

4. On the 25th November 2016, I speak to Sisiso again, who explains that the case is now in for review and I will get feedback asap.

5. On 07th December 2016, I speak to a Giya again (apparently this is the "other" Giya because there are 2), who advises that I will get confirmation via e-mail on the expected feedback.

6. On the 08th December, I received an e-mail from Yoliswa Mhlongo which indicated that the case is still being review by the trustees.

7. On the 21st December 2016, I called again and was advised by Lindiwe that I can visit their walk-in centre at any time from 08h00 to 17h00 to get assistance.

8. In the first week of January 2017, I took leave and went to the STANLIB offices in Melrose Arch. Here I spoke to Patience, who advised that the lawyers will give her feedback and I should call her again to get more feedback. Patience advised to either call on her own number ( ********** 00) or the Call Centre ( ********** 003). She said it's best to call the Call Centre as they can see if she is at her desk and will be able to put me through immediately if she is at her desk.

9. On the 8th February 2017, I called again at 15h28 and spoke to Palesa, who advised that Patience is not at her desk.

10. On the 8th February 2017, I called back for Patience at 15h55 and was advised by Mpho that Patience is not at her desk yet.

11. On the 20th February 2017, I called for Patience again at 15h20 and was advised that Patience had left the office already. I also spoke to a Sandelwa who advised that I can contact ********** to lodge a complaint regarding the poor and disgustingly terrible service I am receiving from Stanlib. By now Sandelwa has sent me a withdrawal form which was sent to the lawyers who handled my estate which was settled in 2011 already. I dont have any contact with the lawyer, I have no idea where she is, if she is still in the country or even alive for that matter. I was appointed as the executor of the estate and there is nothing outstanding, but STANLIB still sends my forms to people they dont even know if they are alive anymore...:(

12. On the 09th May 2017, I spoke to Buhle at 15h30, who advised that my claim is back with the trustees again.

13. On the 30th May 2017, I called again and spoke to Mbali at 15h18 who advised that my claim is still with the trustees.

14. On the 2nd June 2017, a friend of mine from another platform contacted the Rateus service, and eventually I received an e-mail from Ingrid Marsha Naidoo, The Complaints Resolution Officer - Retail, who promised to provide me with feedback on the 05th June 2017, and guess what...up to now still no feedback.

As you can see by now, I know all the consultants working at STANLIB who have been of absolute no use at all in my situation. I sincerely hope that I will still have my claim sorted in this lifetime, and hopefully I will still be alive to see STANLIB board the ship to Mars and never return:(
