Stanlib unresponsive
I have been trying for 5 days to get an IT3(a) form from stanlib, as requeste by SARS. Its impossible to get them to respond, they send the wrong forms, incorrect tax directives.
As a financial company they should be reported to the FSB !

Thank you for bringing this matter to our immediate attention. I understand the frustration this has caused you.
We have already started the investigation process. We recognise that part of the issue is that our systems are not set up to generate CGT certificates for preservation pension fund benefits. This is due to pension fund member shares being exempt from CGT as the PAYE income tax (IRP5) is app**** to any moneys received by the member from the pension fund in terms of the Income Tax Act.
We will provide you with the correct solution and I thank you in advance for your patience.
