STANLIB IS NOT RELEASING MY MONEY

I have sent through a instruction to stanlib to withdraw money out of my investment, now they are blatantly saying I cant have the amount I want, and was paid not even 10% of requested amount. The money was in a risk free account so now that they made a ****up, why must I suffer from this? Sort this out

Hello koen.werner,

Thank you for bringing your concerns to our immediate attention.

Per your conversation with our Asief Suleman this morning, your holding in the STANLIB Income ABIL Retention Fund is still a valid asset in your name. It is unfortunately frozen to transactions and this status will only be lifted when we receive such instruction from the Registrar of Collective Investments (FSB) or directly from the Curator of African Bank.

As noted, you have redeemed a considerable portion of your investment between September 2014 and present. The small amount you have quoted is the remainder of your STANLIB Income Fund post all your past redemptions.

Please note that we do have a dedicated page on our website (www.stanlib.com) from which you can glean all the latest news from the Curator's office.

Thank you for your understanding.
Warm regards,
Barbara Egan on behalf of the STANLIB team.
