Stanlib and KPMG are *****ing my mother of her pension fund. In 2012 my mother took out an investment with KPMG not knowing that they were consulting for Stanlib. The info she got was that she could come back at a latter stage and get a lump sum whenever she need some (I was part of that meeting). We tried to get R50 000 latter last year but was told the pension fund act has changed and we will not get it. Did Stanlib communicate that with my mother before that act came into effect so that she can either remain with them or take her money, NO? There're some doggy dealings between Stanlib and KPMG. KPMG didn't disclose that they were consulting for Stanlib as well. I have a proxy letter that Stanlib has a copy of. My mother is sick and can't afford her medical bills whereas they're busy giving her a runaround.
