STANLIB DOES NOT WANT TO REFUND MY MONEY
I Sybil Lungelo Ratlhahane, (ID:***) on 19/07/2024 made an investment policy for R***0 with Stanlib through Standard Bank Financial Consultancy (Palo Sekgobela) and on 21/07/2024 I signed an offer to purchase a home with Za Prop.
I then requested a refund be reversed into my account on 22/07/2024 because the offer to purchase that I signed stipulated that if I get the offer I should deposit money to the Attorneys within seven days. I have been following up with Stanlib through Standard Bank and today I explained my situation to one of the Consultants at Stanlib they promised that it will be released after it has been signed today and I will receive a notification but I did not receive it. I can not afford to lose this property.
I have received a mandate to pay today as I promised the agent. Please assist me. Thank you

It has been three days and nothing has changed. I've been on the phone with Stanlib consultants but they keep escalating the matter and management has yet to attend to it. They keep telling me management needs to sign it off before I receive my money but to this day management has not signed anything. I am disappointed by the way this whole matter has been handled, I regret investing with Stanlib. All I want is my money back so I can buy the house I have already identified as my dream home. This week was supposed to be the week I purchased my dream home but it is slowly turning into a nightmare. The agent I'm working with in regards to the house is losing patience because I had promised her I would pay for the house by the end of the week and now I may lose out on my dream home. Sadly, an establishment that handles people's money can be so careless with people's money. I feel so powerless I don't know what to do anymore.
