NON PAYMENT TO BENEFICIARY LISTED

My mother passed away on 07 Seotember 2015. We were contacted by Stanlib through our executor on 05 February 2016 to submit documents, whether to reinvest or withdraw. The three siblings elected to withdraw and all documentation was submitted to Stanlib and receipt confirmed. The problem being one of the siblings is out of country, not emigrated, and does not have an RSA bank account. Numerous emails with the suggestion that the money be deposited into a present annuity be done. I have contacted STanlib on numerous occasions, each time i get some duff story. Then they want my mothers ID, its our money now. I request a manager to contact me. Well I am still waiting, my last cal was on 02 November at 16:30. Please do not invest with this company. Even the estate has been finalised and paid out.

Hello Keith56
We appreciate your bringing this issue to our immediate attention. Please accept our sincere apologies for delaying all the payments instead of just the affected portion. As per our conversation of this morning, we will release the benefit for the two beneficiaries where all requirements have been submitted. Please note that we have to instruct the sale of the units - the whole process should be a maximum of 5 working days.
Kind regards,
Barbara Egan, for the STANLIB team
