Investment Bank, Poor service, don't care attitude
I've been trying for +-2 months to transfer my unit trusts from Stanlib to other institutions. After waiting a week for feedback I phoned to find out the progress. Then after another week I HAD to phone back again for an update. Each time I would get a different reason, I can only assume the staff are either clueless or ****. About a month in I asked for a supervisor (the operators try really hard to dissuade you from insisting) Adheer seemed helpful and at least knew what he was doing. I've been dealing with him since the 23/10/2015 and my 1 transfer has only just gone through. Evcen with Adheer I still had to do the following up. Fed up one day I asked to speak to the manager and was flatly denied the opportunity. One by one I will be moving all my investments away from Stanlib. Today I see they have increased their fees for the TFSA transactions without notification. I phoned the call centre to confirm, after ringing for 2 minutes I got \a message basically saying "There is no one at the extension to answer the call\"" this is an investment company that wants your money but doesn't care at all for you. DO NOT INVEST THROUGH STANLIB."""
