HIDING BEHIND THE CALL CENTRE WALL

I have been contributing via a debit order instruction (given to Standard Bank 25 years ago) to a unit trust fund for my domestic worker. The bank debits my Absa account every month. My worker has retired so I went to Standard Bank to cancel the instruction but they said I had to contact STANLIB directly. After a 15 minute We Are Busy nonsense and then being redirected 4 times the agent informed me that I could not do it on the phone & they emailed me a 4 Page document. But nowhere did the document offer a box to tick to Cancel the instruction. I could change it, amend it but not cancel it But I signed it, filled it in with all the info and wrote Cancel on it and emailed it back I got an automated email then another email to say that I could phone to cancel it (I again called the call centre but no you cannot do it on the phone and no you can't leave a message either or be put through to the person who sent you the email . I emailed backthe STANLIB and Highlighted the name of the person who sent nme the email. I asked someone to just call me to discuss it. I sent a second email and few days later. Then l got an abrupt email from a 4th person to say "we called you ONCE (Yes once) and when you did not answer left a message" Problem is I was driving when the unknown number called (it was the call center number that came up) and I do not have a message service on my phone. Then nothing since. I've told my domestic to move the quite substantial balance to Capitec who were very helpful to her. Absolutely Disgusting service From STANLIB
