Failure or No Interest or simply poor assistance..

Why is it such a struggle to obtain a section 14 transfer quote from the people at Stanlib ? Why don't you simply lend a hand ? Why is there such confusion in your call centre ? I explain things in simple terms yet the call centre staff is still clueless.....I explain things and its like they forget it as soon as I explain it....If sent multiple attempts of correspondence to your contact@stanlib address yet nobody is able to assist me. I get the impression that nobody knows what they are doing and are more willing to pass the buck onto the next department instead of helping their clients. I have to get to such a point of frustration that I have to be forced to escalate issues like this to Hello Peter. Please can somebody, anybody help me obtain a section 14 transfer quote. I am a direct client. Not a broker. It's for my RA. That is all.....seriously....

Hello bradley.radjoo,

As explained to you telephonically, there is no quotation for this transaction. A retirement annuity is compulsory monies. In order to transfer to or from another linked investment service provider (LISP), we have to receive an instruction from the LISP together with a valid application form. Our LISP does not charge additional fees for such transactions. On our application form all fees are disclosed.

Unfortunately, when you mention quote, in financial product terms, in order to provide a quotation, financial planning advice would have to be given. STANLIB is not registered to provide financial planning advice.

Thank you for understanding our position.

Warm regards
