My dad passed away in 2014 and all funds were transferrred to my mother. Due the African bank going into curatorship the portion of the money was separated on the account under Abil funds. In approx June 2016 I noticed that the total amount of thd investment seemed less than the previous month. I started investigating to find that the Abil portion had been taken out of the account. After numerous contacts via email and telephonic I get informed that since investment was made in dads namd the payment was made back into his account? Which I presumed was closed when funds were transfered to moms account. How can you take money out of an account without notifying thd client !!! In my eyes that is THEFT, taking something without authorisation. I accepted thd fact and requested the funds get transferred back to moms account, have been waiting since September fir this to happen, promises but no action, have gone as far as resolutions department Ingrid Marsha Naidoo, who is supposedly the resolutions body, has made promises, still no money seen in the account. Hiw many people has this happened to, how much money have these people ****** from clients without their knowledge. We rely on these institution to be honest and above board. Had I not noticed the lower balance,I would not have een any wiser. People check your accounts with STANLIB, make sure your money has not side stepped likd mine. My next option has to be the ombudsman, as not even the resolutions department can assist. DISGUSTING SERVICE.
