bad servicing refuse to take instructions
Ive been a sad case of a client of stanlib by investing my life earned spending as a child into stanlib when i left school... it was a small 5000 which to me was a really big amount. And now like 15 years later this money is less! I tried on many occasions to submit my info to u and sell but after many rejected emails and denying receiving my instructions i give up. Like now its just a mere 4000 & i really need the money but you give such grief! I called around the 17/09 to repurchase and a man advised that it was over 4000! Saddened as usual... i sent repurchase forms to contact and [Email Removed] and the emails are rejected by the server as usual. I called now and made a scene and was advised to email palesa.sephula and that bounced too. If i could tell you the pain and frustrarions u cause me it would be a book! I loged a query to ask IT in ur xompany to assist, they said itll take 48 hours to repond... its now 2 weeks. Grow up and mature as a company..its not fair that i lose due to ur incapability returned was:554 Email rejected due to security policies - [URL Removed]

We appreciate your bringing this frustrating e-mail service issue to our attention. We do apologise - we are meeting with our service provider Standard Bank to map the way forward to avoid the issues we are experiencing. We are not happy with the frustration this is causing our investors.
In terms of the fund performance, unfortunately a Resources fund is high risk and highly aggressive. The economy and state of labour in South Africa has unfortunately negatively impacted the underlying holdings of such unit trust portfolios.
The issue it unfortunately highlights is that it is vital to consult with a financial advisor to get insight to risks and long-term nature of aggressive funds. It is also vital to review investments at least bi-annually using the fund fact sheets and seeing if the performances match your expectations. All information is continuously updated on our website. You can view the Morningstar weekly updates which allow you to see the fund performance over set periods from short term (less than 1 year) to long-term (10 years). STANLIB cannot give investment advice but we can give in-depth information on the markets and on our funds.
