My son does not have a financial advisor appointed by himself, and he doesn't want one. Early this year, the Balanced Fund was merged with the Multi-Asset Growth Fund. Advisor fees were charged on this new merged fund without asking my son if he wanted an advisor. My son emailed StanLib and they gave him a form to fill in to remove the advisor. My daughter's Balanced Fund was also merged with the Multi-Asset Growth Fund, but no advisor was forced on her. Why was an advisor appointed to my son, but not my daughter? Why is StanLib giving my son extra work to remove the advisor which he never asked for?
