Zenophobia
I am a Standard bank private banking client. after the way one of colleagues (a Malawian) was treated at the Standard bank Springs branch today I am really going to move all my accounts to another Bank. he went in to sort out a issue on his account today. he stood in the queue but the tellers kept calling the people behind him. eventually he went to ask if he was in the correct queue they assured him he is. eventually the lady that assisted him realised that they are deliberately ignoring him because he is an immigrant. she came and helped him after standing for 2 hours. This effected our South African business and is shocking behavior for a professional. I would hate for these kind of people to be working with my money.

Good day Gina and Benson
Thank you for highlighting this with us. I have involved the Provincial Manager who has given me a full breakdown of what transpired. He has also undertaken to ensure that internal disciplinary procedures are app**** to staff involved.
This is not the values we uphold and the incident has been taken very seriously.
Please feel free to revert back to me should you have any further concerns.
Kind regards
