Wrongfully registration with SAFPS

Between July and August we app**** for a house loan and used better bond, our application was turned down for unknown reasons. We tried to call standard bank and the letter we received said we did not meet required requirements. We called to find out what we’re those requirements since our credit records are in check and we afford more than what we app**** for. We were sent from one consultant to the other via telephone since we are working outside South Africa and the last consultant said someone from sales will sent a detailed email and she will forward it to us till this day that has not materialize. This morning (18 September 2020)we got a feedback from ABSA that standard bank listed my husbands ID because someone in May 2020 app**** for a credit card ********** using my husbands ID yet those details were not made known to us especially when the application was declined. it is our right as consumers to be brought to light with details that affected us and we had to beg them for information that they know but failed to tell us. Can standard bank rectify this for my husband is a victim ( we are in Saudi Arabia) we did not apply for any credit card in May 2020. let the reference with SAFPS be rectified with immediate effect.
