WRONG BENEFICIARY DETAILS FOR MULTICHOICE ON THE STANDARD BANK PAY MY BILLS APPLICATION

Goodday,

I would want to express my disappointment with the Standard Bank pay my bills application / internet banking application.

I used the Standard Bank pay my bills application (as it is being advertised on TV and it was my first time attempt) to pay for my DSTV subscription on the 4th of April 2018 however on the 7th of April 2018 i realized that my DSTV services had been cut off. I then contacted DSTV who informed me that i had not made a payment for my subscription. I then went to Multichoice and went with the proof of payment to show that i had made a payment and only to be advised that DSTV does not have an account with Standard Bank but ABSA.

I then later on went to the Standard Bank, Sandton Branch on the 8th of April 2018 and was advised that for a reversal to be done on my account i had to come in during the week and it would cost be +/- R250.00 for the reversal to be done.

I really think that this is so unfair as it is not my fault that the banking details put on your system for the beneficiaries are not the correct ones or i do not know what the explanation is to have Standard Bank details instead of the ABSA Multichoice Banking Details.

Could you please have a look at this query as it has costs me time and money running up and down to Multichoice and to the Bank to get proof of payments, transaction history details etc just as to rectify this.
