Worst experience

Hi I regret making the choice to use standard bank as my business bank for the past 5 years. I've been trying to move my business forward with this bank. My business is growing every year and I have been trying to get certain facilities like overdraft, credit card or a small loan for the past 2 or 3 years and have failed dismally with standard bank, whose services and communication to a loyal customer has left me bitter and shocked. They would rather take R600 to upto R1000 in bank charges from me every month, than to really help my business. The consultants are from the most incapable consultants I've ever come across, they might as well have a sign on the door that says (if you want us to help you, we can't), but rather they waste your time and let you jump through hoops and give you false hope and extra debt. I was told by the first consultant that Its better to register as a Pty and not a sole prop. I did that, nothing from standard bank. Then months later different consultant, we can't help you, your score is to low and you need to settle your credit card with Nedbank then we can help you. I did that, nothing from standard bank. Went back months later, different consultant all same branch, Mr Rayban we can only offer you R20k, but if you bring us your financials then we can give you what you need. Left sad but hopeful. I got 3 years financials which cost me R21k. Went back to the bank months later, new consultant. We do the application for R200k. It takes standard bank 2months to get back to me. The most frustrating thing to go through. After trying to get through with phone calls and emails that took them 3 weeks to respond to. I eventually went to the bank. I was told by the consultant that from looking at everything, they can give me R54k. I asked if they can go a bit higher. The next day I get a call from the consultant saying how sorry she is that it took so long, but they can only offer me R10k. I was without words and still am. It's like a slap in the face. I don't wish this on anyone. R10k after all this time. I was offered more without financials. Now I've paid from my hard earned cash R21k and only get 10. Is this a joke. I have no hope with standard bank, what a waste of years. I will not recommend this bank to anyone. I will be looking for another bank and start over. Thank you
