WORST BANK FOR EFFICIENT SERVICE - LAKESIDE IN PARTICULAR

STANDARD BANK IS TO BE THE WORST BANK IN SOUTH AFRICA. On Saturday 12 March 2022, I went to Standard Bank Festival Mall to apply for credit, as i was informed by the call center that i could only apply in branch as i am self employed. The queue had snaked 3 time and was incredibly long. I opted to drive through to Boksburg K90 mall. On arrival at 11.03 i was informed that the branch closes at 11. I then drove to Lakeside Mall. I waited in the queue for and hour and a half. A consultant had asked my name and the reason for my visit to the branch. Which i told her that i am self employed and was advised to visit the branch to apply. After almost 2 hours i eventually get into the Branch. I get told that i must now go to K90 to apply, this i have to do during the week. The service at Lakeside was appalling. The receiving lady, didn't understand me and the 2nd in charge was quick to send me away. To think i was going to move my account to Standard Bank. Not sure any more after Saturdays experiences.
