Worst bank ever. Unhelpful.

If I could give 5 negative stars i would. This bank cannot help me at all. I paid off my account. Now I owe R744.00 for absolutely nothing. I have had a standard bank for over a decade maybe even 2 decades. The problem is that a ********** debit goes off my account every month. They cannot stop it. They cannot close my account over the phone so that I don't pay for this debit and other charges just to keep this pathetic account open. The bank branch near me is closed for renovations. They cannot downgrade my account over the phone. So now every month I must pay R100 and something a month until I can get to a different branch!!! This is the worst bank I have ever dealt with. Unhelpful. All they want to do is make money off of me. I am going to tell every person that wants to open an account at standard bank what a horrible banking system it is!!! Waste of time to even call them. Whats the point. All they do is send me to a branch.
