Worst bank EVER! Standard Bank.
Worst service EVER! I app**** for a credit card in August. They told me that the card will take about 10 days. After 10 days my nearest branch (Brandwag, Bloemfontein) will send an SMS to me to let me know that I can collect the card.
After 3 weeks I went to the Loch Logan Waterfront Branch to ask them to just check what is happening with the card. It was the 8th of September. The lady that assist me said that whoever assisted me before never loaded my application they only checked to see if I qualified for the card.
She assisted me with a completely new application. She confirmed that I qualified for the card. She said that I will receive my card in less than 2 weeks.
It is the 14th of November and I am still waiting for my card. Been waiting 3 months, been struggling for 4 months. I guess I'll never get my card. I've tried to call customer services to enquire about the card and my account with no success.
This bank is useless! I'm going to close all my accounts with them because this is not my first bad service experience with them.
