Withdrawal of contract on the basis of the cooling

Rossouw<br> Commence date : 23 October 2014<br> Contract number : *** with Liberty Evoke Product<br> The information given by the financial adviser of Standard Bank, when he said that it is a moderate investment, did not conform to the prospectives of Liberty who claim it would be a high risk investment.<br> <br> On the basis of this information, I executed my right to withdraw from this contract on the 30 days cooling off period, as indicated in the contract. <br> <br> I submitted my request on the 10/11/2014 which is in line with the time frame, up to date Standard Bank refuses to honor this clause.<br> <br> The case was referred to the Ombudsman. The Ombudsman has up to date have not come back with an answer. <br>
