"will will call you right back...." The wait continues - credit card application

<p>On the 19th of July I contact Standard Bank to assist me with a credit card application.</p> <p>As I am a postdoctoral fellow, applying for a card is extremely difficult and I was hoping that Standard Bank, whom I've had a long history with, could assist. I was surprised to be assisted on the first day by being pointed towards the "Urgent Sales Division".</p> <p>Dube, Makhosi Stanford MS contacted me asking for my contact details, whcih I provided him along with my ID etc. to get the ball rolling. All of this occurred on the 19th of July...great service, right?!?!</p> <p>After forwarding my details I contacted them again on the 25th of July to find out if anything has been done in this regard, to which I received the same email ("please forward your details to the Urgent Sales Division"). I rep**** that I already have an am awaiting a response!</p> <p>Today is the 1st of August and I have yet to receive any feedback from Dube, Makhosi Stanford MS or ANYONE from Standard Bank. </p> <p>This is truly pathetic customer service and would likely explain why people leave Standard Bank to go over to their rivals!</p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
