Where is my interest Standard Bank?

<p>My 12 month fixed deposit matured on the 14th July 2017. According to SBSA's own documentation the interest and capital amount should have been paid on the 14th July 2017. To date on the 15th July, I have the capital amount back, but no interest. A call centre agent this morning told me that my interest will be paid by the evening of the 16th (she thinks), as its over a weekend. If SBSA had done what their own documentation says and paid me the capital back with my interest on the maturity date, the weekend would be involved at all.</p> <p>Saleint point. Standard Banks own documentation says the interest and capital will be paid on the maturity date which is 14th July 2017. It will be intersting to see when SBSA feel like paying my interest (who knows when that might be) whether I am going to be reimbersed for the days between maturity and when the interest is paid??</p>
