When We Close A Account It Should Be Closed

Last year my wife closed all her standard bank accounts, due to bad service, never receiving statements and cost. After the account has been closed she suddenly receives a statement late 2015 stating that her account is in arrears. A company called Ametlife has been debiting her account every month, a account that should be closed and a debit order with no authorisation. The bank can't even tell us who the company is?<br> <br> The account needs to be closed and the amount in arrears debted, it is not our responsibility to make sure that a account is in fact closed when requested to do so. Nor do you have ANY right to allow a debit order without a signature.<br> <br> This needs to be resolved ASAP, you can contact Zanele Mosupi my corporate banker at head office to ask if Centolite Fuels (PTY) Ltd's account is big enough to lose should this not be resolved.<br> <br> I have included my wife's ID number who's account it is that's in question and my contact number.
