When in trouble...

Realising that you have been ****med is heartbreaking and confusing, especially when the ******** are so convincing that they even appear on the CIPC register! I was ****med out of R38 950 and upon making initial contact with Standard Bank not only did they immediately put a hold on the recipient account but they explained to me what I needed to do to have the matter investigated. I submitted all my documents and in less than a week Standard Bank was able to reverse the money back to me. Although the investigation by the police is still on going I was very pleased with the response time by the bank.

The person I dealt with is Welile Jele.

In the same breath I would like to thank W.O Botha from the Mondeor SAPS as well as Seargent Dora (I didn't catch her last name). They put me shame not only by challenging my views about the police but they went beyond. When things like these happen, sitting and doing nothing is the worst decision that you can take. I know that it is depressing but you must act as quickly as possible. Not only will you have a better chance of recovering your money but the police can follow the leads you give them.

Thank you Standard Bank FFCU and the SAPS and I hope my next post will be about how the ********* were apprehended which I will happen!
