What the ...?

After five weeks of being messed about we were declined for VAF. The only problem that we have is that the decision was based on incorrect information. We are not in debt review with FNB – we are taking them to the Constitutional court because they did not follow the actions specified in the NCA. They have never given us a statement of account and they have never proved that we owe them a specific amount. They have already dropped the amount we are supposed to owe several times– to be in debt review we would have to at least a) know about it and B) have signed some sort of document We have an arrangement with Cell C. Our landlord failed to pay our deposit and we needed to eat until he did so. Vodacom have not been able to produce a shred of evidence against us. I do not believe in just paying something – I want the details. I could blacklist you and I am sure that you would demand the facts before you just paid.

I do not see how there could be insufficient information on ICT and then in the next breath tell us that our “bureau payments” exceed disposable income. I have never made a "Bureau payment" in my life. You also have failed to take into account that I also work full time so we actually have R13000.00 more than what is calculated

whatever happened to

"The entire unpleasant incident is regretted and the bank hopes that the relationship with us can be restored. I trust that this response answers your immediate concerns and hope that we can repair any damage that we have done to the relationship. We value your relationship with us and regret if this seemed otherwise" ?

if Stannic genuinely wanted to repair the situation they would not lead us on. I already knew that the offer was declined yesterday. The dealer told me. So this whole matter has been a farce from day one. Standard Bank has already sat on a credit card overpayment for six months, neglected to do what was necessary to resolve the account, paid us no interest whatsoever on our money that they sat on for six months. Initially they told us it was with the attorneys - it took a week to make them understand that the money was ours. They then had the ***** to tell the Banking ombudsman that the refund was a goodwill gesture. Not sure how getting my own money back could be a goodwill gesture. They *****ulantly held on to our money. Obviously the desire to repair our relationship has expired
