what is this finance charges

Good day <br> <br> kindly note that am paying for my credit card on a monthly basis, my limit is 5000 on the card.. but for some funny reason the amount keeps going up instead of decreasing, furthermore, there is a transaction that I never noticed before it is about 80.00 per month it says finance charges or something along those lines... kindly tell me if I have been paying all along and nothing goes towards the card where is all the debit amount going to? <br> <br> kindly contact me urgently on this number ***. <br> thanks
